The Government Equalities Office is holding a public consultation on same-sex marriage. The consultation applies to England and Wales. It closes on Thursday 14 June.
The Coalition for Marriage have set up a simple, easy web form that allows you to send your response directly to the Government’s public consultation on redefining marriage.
The consultation will play a key role in whether the proposal goes ahead or not. This is your chance to tell the Government you want to keep the true meaning of marriage.
The core issue – whether or not marriage should be redefined – is covered by Questions 1 and 2 of the consultation. Other questions cover the mechanics of how, not if, marriage should be redefined. We are urging our supporters to respond to the first two questions covering the core issue.
