Time for Marriage Facilitator
Job description
The role of a TfM Facilitator is a calling, not just a job.
It requires couples to demonstrate their commitment to God and to each other through both actions and words. While there are no age restrictions, having teaching or presenting experience can be beneficial. Couples must have attended a TfM weekend within the past three years or be willing to attend one prior to training.
Training includes a preparatory session, usually conducted online, followed by a weekend at the trainers’ home. After this, trainees will support and participate in a TfM weekend under the supervision of an experienced facilitator couple.
TfM Facilitators are:
- Passionate about marriage
- Working out Redeemed Marriage in their own lives
- Good communicators
- Good listeners
- Hospitable and welcoming
- Teachable and adaptable
- Able to create a positive atmosphere and put people at their ease
- Willing to be vulnerable
- Committed to a minimum of two weekends a year and occasional training.
